So this is it. Welcome to Food Blog Land. I figure it’s about time for me to get one of these. I love cooking. I love reading blogs. So…Food Blog. Sounds about right.

Fair Warning: I’m a better cook than writer.

I’ve always loved cooking, but lately I’ve developed an even stronger love for creating my own dishes and putting a spin on recipes I’ve had for ages. My recipes come from all over. Some have been handed down, some I’ve made up, some I’ve found and altered, and some are ones I’ve found and just wanted to share. I’m a vegetarian, so most of my things are meat free, but like most recipes, you can adapt them and change them however you like.
 
Now’s the time to be honest: I’m not used to sharing my recipes. I love cooking and baking, and I love the praise that it brings…I don’t like to share that praise. It’s the theatre kid in me. I’m not ashamed.

But I’m turning over a new leaf! Recipes were meant to be shared and enjoyed by everyone. And I promise not to leave ingredients out on purpose anymore… (I know, I know!)

As for ‘Dancing in the Kitchen…’

Dance is a huge part of my life. It’s right at the top of my favorite things list. Along with cooking (of course), London, tea, puppies…the list goes on. I can’t tell you the number of people I’ve talked to who’ve said “I can’t dance, I wish I could.” It’s probably right up there with the number of people who’ve said “I can’t cook, I wish I could.” I’m here to tell you that anyone can dance, and anyone can cook.

It’s all about having fun, regardless of the outcome.

I’m here to remind you of that. So put on some music, get in the kitchen and start cooking and dancing…You may surprise yourself!
